"SWISH BLADE is a sound project I often note as ‘POWER SOUNDS FOR UNIVERSE FREAKS’. Anyone with a journey left to explore or who has a page left unturned, will find solace in what feels like astral strobes of sound and vibratory pulse. My concepts may seem unfamiliar but they are intentional at the same time. They are rooted in a species of found sound / abstract field recordings, cut up sampling, synthesized keys, drum machines and piano, creating an emotive and often abrasive soundscape that is choke-full of sensory opportunity. My recorded and live sound programs are meant just as much for a pleasurable, physical vibration experience as they are for a distinct and explicit, auditory pleasure session. Let's explore!
